However, this issue can be resolved by using copper ions. We will introduce a case study that verified the energy-saving effects due to improved cooling efficiency through water quality enhancement. This case involves a cooling tower (100 refrigeration tons) at the factory of air conditioning manufacturer D, where the power consumption of the compressor was measured and tracked from the time of trial introduction. By circulating copper ions, approximately half of the scale was removed after 120 days. The reduction in scale is proportional to the decrease in power consumption. We would like to introduce a case where the copper ion generation water treatment device "Cu Energy" has led to a reduction in chemical costs and maintenance costs. In the case of a textile-related company, the copper ion water caused the "algae" to die off and the "scale" to dissolve, resulting in several blowdown treatments. After stabilizing the water quality, the blowdown treatments were reduced to a minimum, thereby lowering maintenance costs. In the case of a steel-related company, within about four months of implementation, rust decreased and water quality improved.
